Donut Worry, Be Happy

I think children are the best teachers in the world and while us moms are busy trying to teach them all they need to know in life they teach us so much more.  My girls have taught me to break out in dance whenever a song comes on, laugh at every funny moment, don't take life too seriously, love super hard and unconditionally and every day is special.  Every now and then I remember to break the rules and have dessert for dinner or let the girls stay up past bedtime for a movie night.  Life's too short, make memories now.

Life's an adventure and the clothes need to match the vibe.  The girls are just like me and love any new item of clothing (Kevin asks all the time, "What are you creating?!?!").  These vibrant and playful donuts shirts are perfect for their personalities and for Spring.  I snagged them from Chaser Brand which is one of my favorite spots for the girls clothing.  They have the cutest graphic prints and the softest materials.  They make mama happy and the girls smile: win!  At the end of the day remember, "Donut Worry, Be Happy!"

Spring Styles for Little Divas

There's nothing better than having a sister but cute clothes do come pretty close.  We've been DYING for Spring and all it brings including the wardrobe.  The warm sun came out a few times in the last two weeks and we tried to soak it up.  The girls have been begging to wear their new outfits from Flapdoodles for what feels like forever but I keep telling them it's just too cold.  They squealed with delight when I finally let them wear them; only girls!!!

I love their new outfits as much as the girls for their bright colors, soft material and easy going style.  The affordable prices are the cherry on top and you can shop the line by clicking below.

Whole Foods Beauty Brunch

One of my favorite parts to authoring a blog is the opportunities it creates for me to meet other amazing people and connect with local businesses.  Last weekend I was invited to attend a Beauty Brunch at Whole Foods in order to connect with other influencers and also learn about clean beauty.  To be honest I was pretty naive about products and their ingredients.  I learned that the FDA does not regulate the beauty industry and so Whole Foods has taken it upon themselves to ban over 400 ingredients from their shelves; they only allow the best products in their store.  It was such a fun and informative day filled with networking, eating the most delicious grub and treats and stocking up on the best beauty products.  See below to get your own swag bag...

Whole Foods is hosting a fabulous giveaway right now so check out my Instagram to enter.  These were the products I took home in my swag bag and 6 lucky winners will get one of their own.  Thank you Whole Foods and Amanda for hosting such a great event!

The Best of Fresno

Most of you know me but in case you don't I'm Annie Foreman, the founder and creative director of The Real Housewife of Fresno.  I'm a wife to my high school sweetheart, mom to two beautiful girls, Realtor and lifestyle blogger.  I was born and raised in Fresno and couldn't wait to get out of town as soon as I graduated high school.  I moved to LA to attend UCLA and I quickly learned that So Cal was not for me.  I didn't fit in, didn't like the lifestyle and hated the traffic.  It took me moving away to learn how much Fresno can provide.  It offers most of the amenities of a big city but still has a hometown feel.  It's only a 1-3 hour drive to the mountains, snow, ocean, SF or LA.  The cost of living is phenomenal and the lifestyle is slower paced but not boring.  The people are down to earth, warm and welcoming.  Fresno has been and likely will always be my home.

One of my favorite things to share on the blog is everything I love in, around and about Fresno.  I believe in supporting the local community especially small businesses.  But don't get me wrong there are some amazing chains that are exceptional and still benefit our local community.  Plus they are all staffed by people who live here.

One of my favorite activities are the free local community events hosted by Lululemon Fresno.  At one of these events I learned you could purchase a tank and get Fresno screen printed on the front.  I was bursting with excitement because Fresno is my town!  While I was grabbing my Fresno tank I couldn't help myself and stock up on some other amazing gear {shopping details below}.

Jumping for joy to share my favorite local spots, activities and more:

At the beginning of the year I found High Fitness and fell in love.  It's a high energy aerobics class set to fun music.  I almost feel like I'm dancing instead of working my booty.  My new gear is perfect for these high intensity workouts.

This lightweight long sleeve tee is perfect for the beginning of a workout and heading home.  The back slit is my favorite part!  I was hesitant to pay the lulu premium but seriously once you have a pair there is no comparison.  The leggings are uber amazing!  They suck everything in but aren't uncomfortable.  The sports bra is my current favorite because it adds so much personality.  I just grabbed these Nike's and I'm in love.  The gold detail is why I grabbed them but they are also comfortable and light weight.
