10 Year Reunion

Holy Moly where did ten years go?!?!?  This last weekend was my high school ten year reunion. I can't say that I'm thrilled with the idea of being this old already but as I was getting depressed about having a reunion already I realized how great these past ten years have been. Some of the major highlights are graduating college, getting married to a wonderful man, traveling to Paris, Portugal, Italy, and Costa Rica, becoming a mom to the most adorable baby girl, and buying our dream home.  Not bad for ten years!
The reunion was lots of fun. Since I see so many of my high school friends it was just a good excuse for a night out.
Here's to hoping the next ten will go slower but somehow I don't see that happening.

Carter's 2nd Birthday- Little Gym Big Fun

Emily's best buddy just celebrated his 2nd birthday.  The bash was at The Little Gym.  It's been a couple of months since we've been to the gym so Emily was excited to be back.  What a great place for a birthday party!  The kids got about an hour to run around and have fun.  After playtime we had pizza and yummy cupcakes.  Thank you Carter for inviting us to your birthday!

These were the party favors.  Super cute buckets with fun summer toys!

Storyland/playland

Christina and Carter invited Emily and I to join them at Storyland/Playland a few weeks ago.  I haven't been since I was a little girl and this was Miss Em's first time.  The kids were too young for Storyland but they really enjoyed Playland.  The kids rode some rides and even a few on their own so Em thought she was hot stuff!!!  Most importantly, we loved spending time with Christina and Carter.  Thank you guys for treating us to a fun day:)

Camping Slumber Party

I had my nieces and nephews over for a camping slumber party a few weeks ago.  This was a Christmas gift if you can believe it took me 8 months to get it together!!!  Hey Christmas in August is totally normal.
We had pizza for dinner then we all pitched in to pitch the tent.  Our evening was packed with lots of fun activities.  We played Red Light/Green Light, Obstacle Course, Duck Duck Goose, Freeze Tag, and Alphabet Scavenger Hunt.  We then roasted marshmallows in our fire pit to make S'mores.  We ended the night we scary stories in the tent.  The next morning we started our day with homemade waffles.  After breakfast we walked to Papa's house and picked veggies in the garden.  In the afternoon we swam at grandma's house.  It was such a fun slumber party!!!

Pajaro Dunes Vacay

I go through spurts of blogging because my life is a little too hectic.  So today I'm going to try and get a few out.
My latest excuse for not blogging is moving.  First it's packing, then moving, then unpacking.  Plus we didn't have the internet for a week.  I should do a secondary post about Comcast; boy I hate them!!!!!  We still don't have TV and who knows when we will.

ANYWAYS....

It seems like many moons ago we had our second annual trip to Pajaro Dunes. It was a week of much needed relaxation. (Now that I'm writing this I need this relaxation again!)  We played games, walked on the beach, collected sand dollars, and enjoyed yummy food.  We also went to The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.  Em got to go on a few more rides this year and she loved them. This girl has no fear. Thanks Voa Voa for such a fun week!
