Ladies Paint Night at Pinot's Palette

Last night I had the pleasure of attending my first paint night at Pinot's Palette along with some of the ladies from Fresno Fab Females.  We enjoyed a private event in their Cabernet Room where an instructor walked us through the Pinot's Poppin' Peonies painting.  I didn't expect how much fun it would be to paint, sip wine and laugh with girlfriends.  Pinot's is a beautiful facility with an expansive public party room, full wine bar, private room and wonderful staff.

I have zero artistic ability so I was stressed about painting such a beautiful piece of art but the instructors are trained to make the experience fun, stress free and easy to follow along.  Don't get me wrong my final painting is no masterpiece but I'm pretty surprised with what I was able to accomplish.

You can attend a public class at Pinot's Palette for just under $40 or you can set up a private party if you have at least 12 people.  Check out their event calendar to see what class you would like to take.  All classes are for 21 and older since they serve alcohol but Pinot's Palette has a partnership with Round Table pizza and will start offering classes for children along with a pizza night.

If you're looking for a super fun night out and different experience I highly recommend you sign up for a paint night at Pinot's Palette!

Best of all was spending the night with wonderful women!  Fresno Fab Females is a local group of social media influencers who are girl bosses and entrepreneurs.  We get together to network, bounce ideas around, experience what our community has to offer and just get a night away.  Check out these wonderful women:

Valentine's Ideas

Kevin and I don't make a huge deal out of Valentine's Day but what I do love about it is that it's a day to remind everyone to spread love and kindness and that's something our world sure needs.  I don't need a day of extra romance but I love just trying to make someone smile a little bigger because it's a holiday.  Yes we should all remember all year long to spoil those we love but we're human and we all need reminders now and then and a holiday is a great way to get one.

The girls both celebrated Valentine's Day at school on Tuesday because Madi goes T/TH and Wednesday was Ash Wednesday so Emily's school celebrated a day early.  They were both so excited to pass out Valentine's and come home and go through everything they received.  Here are their Valentine's that they handed out:

Since I was a little girl my mom and I have have exchanged little gifts leading up to Valentine's Day and the tradition lives on today with my mom and my girls.  This year I also left little gifts and love notes for Kevin.

Emily had to wear her uniform on Valentine's Day so we showed some spirit with her hair.  The day of her party I did a different version of the heart and everyone said she looked like Cindy Loo Who, lol!

Another tradition of ours is to decorate Voa Voa's yard with cardboard candy hearts.  She was greeted with this sweet surprise upon returning home from a trip.

Since having the girls our tradition is to order a heart pizza and have a picnic on the floor.  It might not be a romantic dinner but it's tops the crazy rush in a restaurant.  Another tradition is daddy brings home each girl a long stem rose for Valentine's.  He told the girls they were his Valentine's but that mommy was his forever Valentine.  Emily was a little offended and even brought it up the next morning.  She asked me to be her Valentine since she wasn't daddy's #1 Valentine.  I was trying to explain it to her and she responded," Even when I'm 15 I'm still going to want to ride motorcycles and be with daddy and not on a phone like teenagers."  I think we should get that in writing!!!

I hope everyone got to experience extra love on Valentine's!  If you have Valentine traditions I'd love for you to share them:)

Black Lace Dress

I wanted to share my new fave dress which is perfect for Valentine's Day celebrations.  But let's be honest these days V-Day includes pizza and a family night.  However, I have worn this dress to a a Galentine's party I hosted as well as a wedding.  I think that it's the perfect combination of elegant and sexy.  I paired it with bauble earrings, simple block strappy heels, and a pale pink clutch.  To complete my look I added a bright pop of color on the lip.

Do you get dressed up and have a special night out for Valentine's Day or do you stay in and get comfy with your loved one/s?  However, you spend the holiday sending love to all of you!

In a World Full of Horses, Be a Unicorn!

"Play with fairies, ride a unicorn, swim with mermaids and chase rainbows!"

As a Valentine treat I took the girls to a Unicorn Party at a hair salon in Old Town Clovis.  The girls were spoiled rotten and treated to getting their nails and hair done, getting a unicorn mane tutu and unicorn horn headband.  Lots of yummy treats came home with us as well.  I love getting to spend special time with my girls and making memories.  They girls had so much fun!

Check out that sassy face!

She's a ham!

Could they be any cuter or happier?!?!  By the way my car and house are covered in glitter!
