Removing Sap from Hair

Unfortunately I know how to remove sap from hair because I have experience with it!  Madi was climbing in a tree at Grandma's house and came down with a huge amount of sap in her hair.  She took a bath with lots of conditioner but none of the sap came out.  I tried pouring vegetable oil on my fingertips and rubbing it through the sticky spots and it took several minutes but I was able to comb it out.  Hopefully you will never need this solution but just in case you do, it does work.  By the way, I love how adventurous my girls are and how much fun they are able to have at grandma's house.  Just a small casualty for some big fun!

School Lunch Box Ideas

Well Winter Break is over and the kids are back in school.  I sure didn't miss making lunches every day but I have to get back into the swing of things.  Does anyone else get in a slump and wonder what to pack?  It's hard since everything has to be kept cold and my daughter's preschool doesn't allow nut products so that takes difficulty through the roof!  I wanted to share some ideas with you in hopes that it takes the guess work out.  I also suggest making lunches the night before and have it all ready in the lunch pail in the fridge.

When packing lunches for my girls I try at least one protein and two sides.  Here is my full list of proteins and sides:

Ham & Cheese Sandwich, Apples and Trail Mix with Cheese.

Greek Yogurt topped with Honey & Blueberries, Carrots and Hard Boiled Egg.
