Summer Sweets with OREO's

I've only said it a million times but I'm totally addicted to sugar so obviously I love love love OREO's!  Although my love is strong my husband may have me beat.  When he had roommates in college he literally put the OREO package in his safe so he wouldn't have to share.  So it goes without saying we are an OREO family.  When I was given the opportunity to dream up my own OREO flavor I had a million ideas floating around in my head but two jumped out at me... both inspired by my absolute favorite time of year: Summer.  If I were to construct my perfect summer day it's reading a book on a pool floaty while drinking a cocktail.  Several years ago I mixed Malibu Coconut Rum and Diet Dr. Pepper just because it was all I had and I created the best drink.  It tastes exactly like Hawaii feels.  So my first OREO flavor would embody the same taste and feeling: Tropical Pineapple & Coconut OREO.

My second flavor is Root beer Freeze OREO.  At the end of a hot summer day I want something sweet but also something cool and we've recently discovered we can make a root beer freeze with our ice cream maker (life changing).  Can you seriously imagine pairing your slushy, cool and refreshing root beer freeze with a Root beer Freeze OREO?!?!  That would be a match made in heaven.

If you're reading this and coming up with your own OREO creations you might want to take a second and submit your idea for a chance to win $500,000.  I don't know about you but I could use that extra change.

If you need a bit of inspiration to come up with your own creation head to your local Walmart where you will find tons of flavors.  You know you won't just make the trip for inspiration but also grab a few of your favorites to munch on to get your creative juices flowing.

The girls wanted one of each!
