Hoppy Easter

We hosted Easter at our house on the day before Easter as we always do.  It's so nice because we get to spend the whole day together instead of being rushed to get to the next family's house.  We have lunch, play games, hunt Easter eggs, and just hang out.  Emily totally got the hang of hunting Easter eggs.  It was so cute!
Easter Sunday we went to mass at Holy Spirit and then to Fort Washington Country Club for brunch.  It was absolutely delicious.

I am a bit behind on my blogging... At the end of March Kevin's entire family traveled to San Diego for the NDA convention. Kevin's Uncle Jeff was inducted as the president of the NDA, so we went to support him.  It took us a painful 8 hours to get to San Diego.  Can I just say I HATE LA traffic!!!!!
Since it took an entire day to get there that day was shot.  On Saturday we all went to Lego Land.  We had lots of fun and miss Emily really enjoyed it.  Sunday we explored downtown San Diego.  The Gas Lamp District is pretty cool.  That night was the kickoff dinner for the convention on the USS Midway.  It was such a cool experience.  The night ended with a grand firework show.  Monday the boys sat in classes and the girls and kids went to the San Diego Children's Museum.  Emily had lots of fun exploring.  That evening we had a sailor themed dinner.  There was a live band and we danced the night away.  Luckily, loud noises don't bother Em; she slept in her stroller right through the music.  Tuesday we hit downtown again for a little shopping.  Tuesday night was a formal dinner where Uncle Jeff was inducted as President.  Wednesday was our last day and we walked along the wharf and had some lunch and then drove for about 6 hours home.  6 was better than 8!!!
