Colton's 3rd Birthday Party

Spring has sprung around here and it was a great day for a birthday party last Sunday.  We celebrated Colton's 3rd Birthday at Pump It Up.  The girls had a blast; thank you Colton for inviting us!

Madi literally climbed this all by herself.  It took major effort but she did it.

The wind tunnel was a hit!

Madi thought she could do anything the big kids were doing.  I was so exhausted from chasing her around.

A LOVEly Weekend

Our weekend of LOVE was a fun filled weekend.  We started Valentine's weekend with dinner at School House with our best friends.  We had a delicious dinner in the dining room then moved over to the tavern for drinks.  On Friday nights there is a live band in the tavern and this was our main reason for going.  The band was pretty good but not good enough for dancing, which is my favorite thing to do it life.  So it was slightly disappointing but still two thumbs up overall.  I don't know of another restaurant locally with an atmosphere quite like this.  If you haven't been you've got to check it out.  On our way home we had a blast from the past and went to Jimbo's.  Only my bff would go dancing with me at Jimbo's while pregnant.  Jimbo's is not what it used to be because there were about 25 people there.  There was a live band so we did get some dancing in.
On Saturday we started off with a 1st birthday party.  It was a Minnie Mouse theme, so cute, and so fun!  We were so happy to be included in celebrating Mia's first birthday!  After playing, eating, and celebrating we ran home to grab our stuff to head up to Shaver Lake.  We spent the rest of the three day weekend lounging, eating, and playing in the snow. Thank you so much to the Marsh's for inviting us.

Love is Sweet-Valentine's 2016

Valentine's is a special holiday in our house because my mom started the Week of Love tradition when I was a little girl.  We've never missed a year and we've carried on the tradition with my girls.  The week before Valentine's our mailboxes came out and we started exchanging little gifts.  The girls loved it and it makes my heart happy to carry on the tradition.  If you follow me or know me, you know I'm obsessed with traditions so I can only hope that my girls will carry on this tradition and many others that I hold dear to my heart.
Our sweet babysitter also brought the girls personalized Valentine's that she made; it was just the sweetest thing ever!!  Daddy also brought all us girls Valentine's.  I got a dozen red roses and my favorite chocolate chip cookie from Hungry Bear and the girls each got a red rose and a sprinkle cookie. The joy in their faces was priceless!!!!  Grandma also brought over Valentine's for the girls which they loved opening and they are still playing with the balloons.
Over Valentine weekend we were in Shaver and the girls got to make Valentine crafts with their friends/cousins and Aunty Pammy and Uncle Mike gave the girls sweet Valentine gifts as well.  When we returned home on Monday the girls opened their Valentine's from mommy and daddy.  Needless to say there was an overwhelming amount of love over the weekend and leading up to Valentine's Day.  No complaints here; you can never have too much love.
Wishing love and happiness to everyone.
