Supper Sunday-Ground Beef

One of my cooking tricks is to buy a large pack of ground beef and make various items out of it.  I typically like to make taco meat, spaghetti sauce, and hamburgers from a pack of ground beef.  Then I freeze them for later use.  I love having dinner options in the freezer for nights I don't have time to cook.

Taco Meat:
This couldn't be any easier.  I just brown beef, drain, add water and taco seasoning packet.

Spaghetti Sauce:
Brown beef with onion and mushroom.  Drain then season with garlic salt, pepper, dried oregano, and dried basil.  Add a jar of spaghetti sauce or a can of tomato sauce and a can of diced tomatoes.  Let simmer for at least 45 minutes but the longer the better.  Stir occasionally.

Hamburgers:
I hand mix ground beef, 1/2 grated zucchini, 1-2 raw eggs, garlic salt, and pepper.  I then make patties and individually wrap in wax paper and finally foil.

I didn't take any pictures of tonight's meal but this morning I took out hamburger patties from the freezer and let them thaw in the fridge.  This evening we BBQ'ed them and it was an easy meal.
