I'm taking part again this year in the Hunger Heroes Campaign to benefit Community Food Bank. The Campaign benefits the work of the Community Food Bank. The Community Food Bank is a non-profit agency dedicated to ending hunger in the Central Valley. They've distributed 38 million pounds of food to families in need each year and serve more than 280,000 people monthly. $1 donated equals $7 worth of food and $0.97 of each dollar donated goes directly toward the food and food program expenses. For every $10 donated, Community Food Bank can provide enough food to feed a family of four for a week!!! The Hunger Heroes Campaign is using a 10x10x10 model. I am on a team of 10 people and our mission is to each secure 10 people to give a minimum of $10 each which would equal $1000 raised.
