Friday Favorites 10/20

Sharing my Friday Favorites is one of my favorite blog posts because it's digital diary of the little moments in our life.  I suspect one day many years down the road these will be such special posts for me to reminisce and reflect on.

Emily had her first school carnival where we enjoyed games, food and friends.  It was such a fun day!

Emily started soccer for the first time this year and daddy is the coach.  Emily was elated that her daddy took on the job and I'm so tickled to see him on the field with Emily and her friends.  He's doing a fantastic job and so is Emily.  Emily has made two goals so far but enjoys playing as much as she loves sitting on the sidelines with her girlfriends cheering and chatting!

Our niece Jillian is involved with her school FFA and showing her hog at the fair this year.  We went to see her at the Raisin Roundup and the girls got to see her show at the fair when I was out of town.  We are so proud of of Jilly and her dedication and work ethic!

My mom and I took the girls to their first Fresno State game and went to a couple of tailgates beforehand.  We had such an amazingly fun night!  Emily and especially Madi danced through most of the game and cheered on our dogs.  I love watching experiences through their eyes!

Daddy celebrated a birthday recently and the girls made a homemade ice cream cake with the assistance of grandma.  We were blessed to spend the evening celebrating Kevin with the ones we love the most!

We've added a few swim lessons in the off season for little Miss Madi so that she doesn't forget the skills she learned over the Summer.  It's also a way for her to blow off some of her abundant energy.

The fair came to town and the concerts and the horse races are always my favorite part!  I attended 3 of the first 4 days doing one of those things!  Spending it with some of my faves was icing on the cake.

Finding fun activities in Fresno is always on my to-do list.  When it's free, it's a home run.  Thank you Voa Voa for letting us know about OSH's pumpkin decorating.  It was such a cute idea to decorate mini pumpkins with hardware supplies.

More fair fun...  This time with the girls!  We added checking out the animals but didn't avoid the horse races.  Emily picked a horse and I placed the bet and she won!!!  She was so excited but Madi thought placing the bets and getting a ticket meant you got to ride the horse.  She was not happy when I told her that wasn't the case.

We went to the Pumpkin patch last weekend and what I love about this place is there are rides, pumpkins, food and food.  We not only grabbed some pumpkins but also enjoyed the adventure.

I had the pleasure of escorting Emily and her friends and classmates to a field trip to the Fire Station.  They got to tour the rig as well as their quarters and each kid got to fire the hose.  During our time there they got a call so we had to wait for them to leave and return.  It was neat to see the real deal!

Happy Friday and have a great weekend!!!

  1. If your kids love pets like dogs then you have to fulfill their wish by bringing a dog for them. But you have to make sure that you take the proper care of your pets otherwise it will become so tough and hard to get a strong and healthy dogs. Again you can use cbd for pets without anykind of hesitation because all these are natural.
