How to Throw a Bright Rainbow Roller Skating Party

Emily paints a rainbow wherever she goes!  She lights up any room and she finds the silver lining to any cloud.  I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate her 8th birthday than with a Rainbow Roller Skating Party.  She is now of the age where roller skating is doable and would be fun for her and her friends so we picked United Skates Clovis for her party.

I was able to come a little early and set up Emily's party table with bright decor from Geese & Ganders, printables from Swanky Party Box and the most amazing cake from Kaja's Kreations.  The table was simple but I loved how it turned out.  It was bright, happy and matched Emily's personality.

Kaja has been doing cakes and cookies for me for years and she never disappoints.  Her cakes are always over the top AND delicious.  I hate when cakes are one or the other.  This cake was a confetti cake which made it so fun when you cut into it.

Swanky Party Box custom designed printables for me including the invitation, a banner, a poster, the favor tags and a thank you card.  I love working with them because you can really get what you want.  Debbie works to get the vision just right and will make edits if needed.

For the favors I did tube socks I found on Amazon and they were given out as soon as guests arrived so that they could wear them.  All the girls looked so adorable in their coordinating socks and they were such a hit.

The tableware by Geese & Ganders made everything just perfect.  I love how you can find unique items; not just the plain and normal.  Items from Geese & Ganders always add so much personality to our parties.

We found Emily's rainbow shirt on Amazon as well and it was perfect for this party.  I loved the little tassels at the end of the rainbow.

The party was so much fun with skating, arcade games, rink games, pizza and cake.  We will definitely be going back for more fun and Madi wants her next party at United Skates.

Emily is growing up so quickly which includes a little sass and sarcasm but also includes independence, confidence and expanding knowledge.  I'm greatly enjoying watching her grow into her own.  I hope that your light never dims Emily!  Keep shining bright and leave a little rainbow wherever you go.
