Kevin's 30th Birthday

Kevin's BIG 3-0 was this last Friday.  We celebrated with lunch on Friday at the yard.  We had Dicicco's and ice cream cake from Baskin Robins; Kevin's favorite dessert on the entire planet.  I also gave Kevin his birthday gift at lunch since we had a rehearsal dinner on Friday night so we weren't going to be celebrating his birthday that night.

On Sunday evening we had dinner with the family at my mother in laws.  We had a yummy steak dinner and a homemade ice cream cake.  Emily and Jillian made the cake and it was REALLY good, I'm not gonna lie.

Emmy LOVES her JJ.  She kept asking to take pics with him.

Happy Birthday to my amazing husband!  We love you to the moon and back.

Dede and Will's Wedding

This weekend was my cousin Diane's wedding.  We were honored that Emily was asked to be part of the special day as a flower girl.  I really wasn't sure how she would do especially since the wedding was right in the middle of nap time.  I am thrilled to say she did absolutely fabulous!  She ate it up!  This little girl is such a ham.  She had the time of her life hanging out with the bridesmaids and fellow flower girl and ring bearer.
Friday night was rehearsal followed by a lovely evening at FIVE restaurant.
Saturday the wedding was at St. Anthony of Padua and the reception was at D & D Ranch in Madera.  It was a lovely wedding and so much fun.  Grandma watched Madi during the day and overnight.  Kiki came and picked up Emily after she was introduced with the wedding party.  This way mommy and daddy could really enjoy the night!  And we sure did:)
When Emily was leaving she was extremely excited to see Kiki and go to grandma's house but she told daddy, "But Emmy hasn't danced with daddy yet."  It broke our hearts because the WHOLE day she kept talking about dancing with daddy.
It was so much fun to see a lot of my cousins that I haven't seen in forever.  We danced the night away!
Congrats Dede and Will and thank you for including us in your day.

School Days-September

Emily is continuing to LOVE school.  So far she has learned about the letters A,B,C, and D, the color red, and the circle shape.
This last month the kids had a Teddy Bear Picnic so Emily took her Bear Grace to have lunch with her.  She was very excited.
She seems to grow up more and more each day.

Madi's First Tooth

A week and a half ago Madi had her 4 month checkup and I asked if she could be teething because she drools so much.  The doctor said no, that drooling was normal.  Well today two teeth popped out! (Two bottom teeth, the left is out more than the right.)
Emily got two teeth at 6 months so this seems really early.  Oh I'm sore just thinking about it:(  I hate teething.  Now I can look forward to low fevers, drooling, and crabbiness until she's about 2!
My little baby is growing too fast, too soon.
