A Day of Pampering at The Spa at Fig Garden Village

Self care is super important to me because as a working mom I have to take time to take care of myself or I will never survive.  Giving myself a break or pampering myself helps me to be a better wife and mama.  I have always loved The Spa at Fig Garden Village for a massage but today I tried a Soothing Professional Facial for the first time.  The Spa is always my go-to spot for relaxation because of all of their amenities.  You will find everything from a steam room to a relaxation room and soon you will find yourself escaping from reality.

I suggest arriving early to get your full experience started.  I love grabbing a cup of hot tea and magazine and sitting in the relaxation room to unwind before my service starts.  After my services I take advantage of the steam room which enhances my relaxation and it always does wonders for my skin.  The locker room is well equipped and very luxurious.  After a service you can shower and get ready so that you don't have to run home before conquering the rest of your day.  The locker room has everything you need to wash and style your hair.  However, my favorite amenity of The Spa is booking a blowout right after a service; it's a one stop shop for your pampering experience.

My Soothing Professional Facial today was heavenly combining both relaxation and skincare.  I have had facials at other medical spas and I get the skincare but none of pampering.  For me that is just as important and something I hate missing.  A facial at The Spa is the best of both worlds.  My experience included cleansing, exfoliating, extractions, steam, two masques, and massage (facial, arms, shoulders and scalp).  After finishing up I headed up stairs for my blowout which is complete with wash, condition, blow dry and style.  Thank you to Janna and Kari for taking such good care of me!  You can literally see the glow from my day...
