Who's Trending Right Now...

My little fashionistas are the ones trending right now!
What did you think I was going to say Taylor Swift?!?!

These two little dolls might not be trending on Google but they sure are in my world.  My days are always super busy between real estate, blogging, running a household, and just life but these two are on the top of my list.  We're trying to pack summer full of fun.  I'm already freaking out that school starts in less than a month.  Why does summer have to be so short???
Not only do we try to get out to do fun stuff but I'm trying to make home life fun as well.  You've probably seen we're checking off our Summer Fun Bucket List and several of those items are things we can do around the house like water balloon fights and running through the sprinklers.
I have to remind myself to slow down and appreciate the small moments.  I hope these little girls are always "trending" in my day.
What do you do to enjoy the small moments and keep your kids "trending" on your to-do list?

Not only do we pack the days with painting, sprinklers, or water balloon fights, most days include taking a picture.  They are especially obsessed with Boomerang.  It cracks me up that Emily asks to do this.

This one especially is my mini-me and a little diva.  She comes up with the poses on her own and loves to take pictures.

Fresno Food Expo and Taste, Tally, & Tweet

I had the opportunity to attend the Fresno Food Expo's Exclusive Preview Event titled, "Taste, Tally & Tweet."  The event included all the new products for 2016 that were entered into the New Product Awards.  I was able to taste and drink all of these new products and speak to each individual company.  You have the opportunity to vote for the People's Choice Awards by clicking HERE.  The winner will be announced at Explolicious on July 28th.

My top favorites of the night were:
California Dried Fruit, Inc- Fruit Spreads
Poindexter Nut Company-Flavored Walnuts
Homegrown Organic Farms- Freeze-Dried Organic Fruit
Riley's Hard Hand Crafted Root Beer

One of my passions is supporting local business so this preview was really special to me because all the products and companies were from the Central Valley.  It was so much fun to get to speak to the owners of each business to hear a little bit about their mission and product.  I felt like I was on the ground floor with them and I'm happy to cheer them on.

As fun as the Exclusive Preview was I can't imagine how great the Fresno Food Expo will be this year.  The Expo is both a business-to-business trade show and also a public event.  The trade show gathers over 1000 buyers from all over the world to buy our local products. WooHoo Central Valley!
The Food Expo is open to the public from 5:00-8:00 pm and features over 150 food and beverage exhibitors and 10 restaurants, local brews, wine, and spirits.

The Newest Addition from RePlay-Infant Spoon

We love our Re-Play Feeding Set so of course we were quite excited to try their new Infant Feeding Spoon. They are sold in 4 packs and include one travel case. I love the travel case to keep the spoon clean and after use this keeps my purse clean. Re-Play really thought about the design of this spoon and some of its great features include an ergonomic comfort grip, a long handle to keep mom's hands clean and allows baby to help feed himself, the perfect depth of bowl for little ones, contoured edges clean up leftovers on the face and mouth, and the smooth material is gentle on the mouth and gums yet tough against budding teeth. They are also PVC, BPA and Phthalate fee. They retail for $5.99 for the pack of 4.

In case you missed my last review about Re-Play I wanted to share with you Re-Play products are super durable and they are made from recycled HDPE plastic. To date, Re-Play has saved over 11,000,000 milk jugs from going into a landfill, which equals about 18 months of energy for the average household. Another huge PLUS for me is that all their products are made in the USA!!! I love this for several reasons like keeping jobs in the U.S. but it also reduces greenhouse gases and saves energy.

Re-Play was introduced in 2011 by Re-Think It, Inc., a family owned and family-focused company founded by husband and wife Craig and Amy Shumway. They are dedicated to providing sustainable and affordable products to their customers.

Checking Off Our Summer Fun Bucket List

We trying our best to pack our summer full of fun.  I'm not sure if it's the state of the world or my girls growing like weeds before my eyes but I'm really trying to enjoy life and all it has to offer.  Of course I still have to work and there is reality to deal with but I'm trying to pack in all the fun on top of it.
This last weekend we checked two items off of our bucket list.  Friday night we went out for sushi at the new Wassabi Fire.  We chowed down on delicious sushi and even had a few saki bombs!  It's not sushi without saki bombs.  And it's not saki bombs without Ed and his megaphone.  After dinner we headed to Skywalk.  I've been with my girls several times but its a whole different experience with only adults.  You'd never know it was for kids as well once you go at night.  We had the best time being super silly and trying every obstacle course.  I seriously thought I was going to be sore the next day but I wasn't, whew.  I highly recommend a night out at Skywalk.

Emily told me when she heard I was going to Skywalk that I had to try the swing and not to be scared.  She said daddy could help me.  BTW Emily has done the swing before no problem!  She cracked me up that she thought I might be scared.
Not going to lie once you are on it its quite high up.  I have no idea how Emily is so brave?!?!

We also had a Donut Date this weekend which was also on our Summer Fun Bucket List.  There's no question we went to Donut Fantasy on Bullard and West.  Emily wanted a gummy worm donut and I was shocked Madi picked out plain donut holes.  I was thrilled to see they had exactly what I've been wanting to try, the Samoa donut.  I'm obsessed with the Carmel Delight Girl Scout Cookies and this donut is inspired by those cookies.  It was the perfect start to a Saturday morning.  We headed straight for a walk after that kind of breakfast, lol, but it was a great start anyways.

Friday Favorites 7/15

This was such a busy week filled with both business and pleasure.  I've got so many favorites this week to share with you.

Last weekend some girlfriends and I took a yoga class at Lululemon, enjoyed smoothies by Young Chef's Academy, and shopped Fig Garden Village's Sidewalk Sales.  After a morning with the girls I darted off to the circus.

Kevin has been going to the circus with his grandma for 29 years.  The tradition lived on again this year when we took the girls.  Emily loved it and Madi was engrossed for about 45 minutes but then got antsy. After the circus we checked out the new Popolo's.  The new location is very nice but they were working out some first weekend kinks so we will have to try them again once they get into the swing of things.

On Sunday Grandma Jill watched the girls and Kevin and I took a little day trip.  I went on my first Harley ride which I was slightly nervous about.  It wasn't bad at all.  My helmet was a little heavy and so my neck was sore by the end of the day but other than that I enjoyed it.  We rode up to Oakhurst and attended mass at the church where we got married and even got to visit with the Deacon that married us.  We then drove a bit farther to have lunch at Ducey's at Bass Lake.  It was such a fun day date!  Thank you grandma for watching the girls.

Look at my newest little decor piece!!!  Y'all know I'm obsessed with pineapples so when I got this sparkly pineapple as a gift I was super excited.  Thank you Pat for this thoughtful gift; I love it.

I took a great new listing this week!!!  I don't always share my latest houses but this one is a gem. Know anyone looking for an updated home in NE Fresno with a pool? You can find all the details on my real estate website.

Wednesday night I was invited to the Fresno Food Expo's Exclusive Preview Event, "Taste, Tally, & Tweet."  I'll be sharing lots more details about the night but I wanted to share one of my top favorites from the night.  I am not a beer drinker but these Hard Ales from Riley's Brew were amazing.  The Hard Root Beer was so bomb as was the Vanilla Cream.

This summer Voa Voa has been taking Emily to a gymnastics class at Gymnastics Beat.  Emily absolutely loves it and she's seriously turning out to be so athletic (I seriously have no idea where she got that quality, lol).  Thank you Voa Voa for treating Em and being her taxi.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend the PINC check presentation this week but I wanted to share it with you because it's definitely on the top of my list for favorites this week.  This amazing group of girls raised $80,000 for Feed Our Future!!!!  Can you believe that?!?!  I am so proud to be involved with this organization and of the women that I get to work with.  This donation will help feed children for 3 years at one elementary school.

We had a swim day with my nieces and sister this week and it was so much fun.  Emily was in HEAVEN playing and swimming with her big cousins.  She's so daring and loved keeping up with the big girls.  They're already teaching her cheer moves.

A clean house is ALWAYS a favorite of mine.  Yes I have a house cleaner but I'm such a neat freak I'm cleaning in between their visits all the time.  Anything that helps make the job easier is a win for me. I'll be sharing on the blog soon my new Shark Rotator Powered Lift-Away Speed.  It's light and versatile and I'll share all the details soon.

We ended the week with a birthday party.  Our sweet and cute little friend Ava turned two and we celebrated with an equally cute party at Fresno Chaffee Zoo.  Mandy, her mama didn't leave out any adorable details.  Thank you so much for inviting us; we had so much fun.

On Fridays we Flamingle
