Checking Off Our Summer Fun Bucket List

We trying our best to pack our summer full of fun.  I'm not sure if it's the state of the world or my girls growing like weeds before my eyes but I'm really trying to enjoy life and all it has to offer.  Of course I still have to work and there is reality to deal with but I'm trying to pack in all the fun on top of it.
This last weekend we checked two items off of our bucket list.  Friday night we went out for sushi at the new Wassabi Fire.  We chowed down on delicious sushi and even had a few saki bombs!  It's not sushi without saki bombs.  And it's not saki bombs without Ed and his megaphone.  After dinner we headed to Skywalk.  I've been with my girls several times but its a whole different experience with only adults.  You'd never know it was for kids as well once you go at night.  We had the best time being super silly and trying every obstacle course.  I seriously thought I was going to be sore the next day but I wasn't, whew.  I highly recommend a night out at Skywalk.

Emily told me when she heard I was going to Skywalk that I had to try the swing and not to be scared.  She said daddy could help me.  BTW Emily has done the swing before no problem!  She cracked me up that she thought I might be scared.
Not going to lie once you are on it its quite high up.  I have no idea how Emily is so brave?!?!

We also had a Donut Date this weekend which was also on our Summer Fun Bucket List.  There's no question we went to Donut Fantasy on Bullard and West.  Emily wanted a gummy worm donut and I was shocked Madi picked out plain donut holes.  I was thrilled to see they had exactly what I've been wanting to try, the Samoa donut.  I'm obsessed with the Carmel Delight Girl Scout Cookies and this donut is inspired by those cookies.  It was the perfect start to a Saturday morning.  We headed straight for a walk after that kind of breakfast, lol, but it was a great start anyways.
