Girls Trip to Dolphin Bay

My mom and I have done an annual girls trip for several years.  It usually is in January but we didn't get around to it this year till May.  We've always wanted to stay at Dolphin Bay and finally went for the splurge.  I knew it was going to be nice but I had no idea how nice it would be.  Each room is a condo not just a room.  We had a full size kitchen, dining room, family room with pull out couch, and a master bedroom with bath and two walk-in closets.  We had a perfect view of the pool and ocean from our windows and large patio.  The weather was beautiful and sunny on Sunday and Monday but unfortunately cold and foggy on Tuesday and Wednesday.  It was the perfect relaxing vacation.  We never had one meal out; we cooked in every day which is much easier with two little ones.  We had massages, sat by the pool, did a tiny bit of shopping, went to the beach, and I even got to start and finish a book.
Thank you Mom for treating us to the perfect vacation!

We're ready to roll!
On our way down we stopped at Avila Valley Barn which is one of our favorite spots on the Central Coast.  We had lunch, took a hay ride, and had ice cream.

Waiting for our room to be ready.  Soaking up the sun!

The girls were greeted with sand pails filled with goodies.

Our view from the patio.

This is the face of "I don't like the feel of the sand."  She would step on it and then say, "Shoes on, shoes on, shoes on."

This one on the other hand loves the sand!

She wasn't huge on the sand but LOVED the water.

Yelling, "Ready, Set, Go!"

Warming up in the spa after the beach.
