NDA in Nashville

A couple of weeks ago all of Kevin's family (minus kids, WooHoo) traveled to Nashville, Tennessee for the National Demolition Association Convention.  This was our first vacation without our kids since Emily was born.  It was overdue and we had SOOOO much fun!  Day 1 was just traveling, Day 2 we spent in downtown Nashville barhopping and seeing the sights.  That night we ate at Rippy's BBQ and danced a little bit.  We then hung out at Honky Tonk which was a great place to people watch.  Our last stop was BB King's which I don't recommend.  Our hotel was about 25-30 minutes from downtown so we had a bus ride back.  That night we had a karaoke and dance party on the bus back to the hotel, it was hilarious.  On Sunday while the boys had classes us girls did a little shopping.  That night we had a convention event on the General Jackson.  We took a river cruise and ate dinner.  On Monday a few of us went back downtown and did some souvenir shopping and ate at The Merchant which was great.  That night we had a honky tonk themed dinner with the convention.  Afterwards we went back downtown to Tootsie's.  We had fun dancing the night away and I even ended up signing on stage.  Ask Kevin for the lovely video next time you see him:(  On Tuesday we did a little more shopping and had a black tie dinner with the convention.  We ended our trip with a Brad Paisley concert at the Grand Ole Opry.  It was so much fun and a once in a lifetime experience.
I am meant to live in Nashville.  Every bar has a live band and they play round the clock.  It's a dancing girls dream!
