I was looking at The Fresno Bee's People Choice Awards 2015 and found it laughable that Fresnans voted Yosemite Ranch as the Best Fine Dining. Don't get me wrong I really like this restaurant but it's not fine dining. Fresno has no idea. So I thought I would give my opinions on the BEST of Fresno (Food Edition):

Fine Dining: The Cracked Pepper, Parma, School House or Fleming's
Hamburgers: The Habit
Ice Cream: Yo Diggity (Yes I know this is technically Fro Yo)
Italian: Diccicio's
Japanese: Kuni Sama
Mediterranean: Kebab Xpress
Mexican: Casa Corona or Antonio's
Outdoor Patio: Starving Artist Bistro, School House or La Bou
Pizza: Me N Ed's or Pieology
Sandwich: Deli D
Steakhouse: Fleming's
Sunday Brunch: Campagnia or The Fort
Sushi: Wassabi
Love this list! Have you tried SAMs deli? Locally owned and have the best sandwiches. My favorite is the meatball sandwich!
