Firecrackers, Sparkles and Polish

I can't quite figure out why a fresh mani/pedi makes me feel so awesome but it does.  It puts a smile on my face and boosts my confidence.  I wanted a fresh mani/pedi for the holiday weekend so I went back to Jessica from Luxe Nail Spa Clovis after my last fabulous experience.  My gel manicure lasted much longer than anything I've ever experienced.  If you missed my first post you can find it HERE.
Jessica uses only the best products.  She offers Bioseaweed Gel which is Big 5 free- No Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP, BHA or Solvents.  She also uses OPI Gel, Gelish, Morgan Taylor, Zoya, and OPI Polish.  Nail files and buffers are only used once and then given to the client.  All other utensils are cleaned with hospital grade sanitizing tools.  When getting a pedicure the soaking bowl has a one-time use liner.
I also learned about a reverse pedicure.  This was mind blowing to me...You do the nail prep and gel polish first then soak your feet and do massage.  I've never gotten polish before a soak.  The reason is the nail and cuticle absorb the moisture and then your polish lifts quicky.  I'm thinking most salons do it this way on purpose so you have to come back sooner.  Jessica continues to teach me new things in nail care and prep and it's no wonder why my mani/pedi's have never lasted long from other salons.
Luxe Nail Spa Clovis is part of The Petite Spa which is located at Bullard and Villa which also offers skincare services.  Jessica is primarily by appointment only.  You can find a list of services and prices HERE and also request an appointment from this site.

The BEST news is that all my followers can enjoy a $20 OPI Gel mani through the month of July for only $20.  Just mention FIRECRACKERS when you book.

Please tell us a little bit about yourself:
I am a mother of 2 beautiful girls, a wife of 7 years & an entrepreneur.
I aspire to live a heathy lifestyle by choosing products that fit into my chosen lifestyle.

Please tell us a little bit about your company and how you got started:
My journey started over 7 years ago while I was a full-time psychology student, a recent new home-owner and was looking for fiscal freedom. I opened the first spa in 2010 with just 2 other manicurists, and within 6 months our team grew to 7. By mid-2012, I took a break from business affairs to focus and concentrate on welcoming my first daughter. It was also during this time that motherhood changed my lifestyle. I eliminated dairy, eggs, soy, and wheat from my diet, and began researching common beauty product ingredients. I reopened the spa in 2013, this time with a focus on mobility.  My new lifestyle inspired the new mobile spa and I began making my own scrubs, lotions, and oils.  This led to the Petite Spa, which I opened in 2014 with a great friend. My mission continues to educate our community on proper ways to enjoy a manicure and pedicure and to provide a safe and sanitary environment.  Our goal at Luxe is to provide clients with the best and safest products on the market.

What has been your greatest lesson in running your own business?
There's no right way of doing it-do it the way you envision your dream and success will follow.

What’s your greatest tip for entrepreneurs?
Mistakes are part of the journey. Mistakes are needed to build a successful empire.

Who inspires you?
Women inspire me daily. I am fortunate to be apart of many of their journeys, from listening to their daily struggles, and hearing their daily successes.
