We are already prepping for the holidays and picking out all of our outfits for all the upcoming festivities. I love shopping for our outfits for the holidays especially for the girls. Sometime I have the girls match and other times I like them to coordinate. For Christmas Eve I've selected this hunter green dress for Madison. It has a floral print in the same color so it's very subtle. It's a cute but simple dress so it's all about the styling. I've paired it with a champagne and gold necklace made by my mom, topped it off with a gold bow, and finished it off with platinum soft soled moccasins from Freshly Picked.
We have a history with Freshly Picked and absolutely love them. They were the best find when I had a newborn little girl. They were the ONLY shoe that was super easy to get on yet stayed on. Babies shoes are nearly impossible. It seemed like every shoe was so hard to get on and if you were lucky enough to get them on they only stayed on for about 5 seconds. FP seemed like a revolutionary shoe when we first tried them. Now that Madison is older we are still in love with the FP moccs. Madison is quite independent and wants to get herself dressed. The elastic band on the soft soled moccasins make it easy for a toddler to handle on her own; so the morning struggle is reduced.
Typically I see moccasins worn with fairly casual looks but wanted to show you that Freshly Picked Moccasins can be dressed up as well. They are perfect for holiday outfits.
For the night I will be adding a coat and perhaps even a pair of tights. I can also see a jean jacket with this look on another occasion other than Christmas Eve.

ReplyDeleteI love these moccasins! They could go with any type of outfit. I love how you styled them with this dress and then the metallic accessories. So cute! I love all the great colors and prints Freshly Picked has also. It's hard to choose.
ReplyDeleteI have been drooling over FP forever!! I'm on my second kid (16 months and 2 1/2) and we haven't gotten our first pair just yet. They are all so pretty and seem to be a very reliable shoe. My toddler is super hard to fit shoes with a high arch and chubby top of his foot lol so maybe these would work! Thanks for the chance !
