A Little Bit Country

I semi grew up on a farm...my grandparents were farmers and had a dairy and I spent most weekends and summer weeks out on the ranch with my grandparents.  So I've always had an affinity to the farm life.  Now that I'm an adult I'm pretty sure I was meant for the South and specifically Texas (even though I've never been).  If I could get away with it you'd find me with way more of a country feel more often.  Recently I was able to indulge because I had the pleasure of attending a family wedding where the reception was held in a barn.  It may sound crazy but it was absolutely gorgeous (and equally fun).  I was thrilled to wear a fringe dress and rock some cowboy boots.  But for the ceremony I stuck with my black suede pumps to dress it up a bit; I'm sharing the ceremony look here. Since the details of the fringe are enough I love that the dress is a simple black.  I added a pop of hot pink lips and turquoise jewelry. My clutch features blue and turquoise cacti and I'm telling you that's the 2017 pineapple; I'm predicting lots of cacti this year.

Our bipolar weather has prevented my skin from seeing any sun. Yikes this Portuguee is white! Maybe I should invest in a spray tan.
