Madi was 4 months yesterday. At her checkup yesterday she weighed 12 lbs, 10 oz and was 24 inches long. She wears some 0-3 months and some 3-6 month clothing and just about out of a size 1 diaper.
She sleeps from 6:30pm to 7 am with a dream feed at 9:30 pm. This makes a mama happy!!!! We are on a 3.5 hour schedule (7 am, 10:30, 2 pm, 5:30, 9/9:30 pm).
We're really working on getting her in her crib but its NO fun. I've never tried at night because I'm selfish and I like my sleep. However, in the day we try the crib. She usually cries for a very short time and falls asleep but the problem is she wakes up in the middle of her naps and sometimes doesn't calm back down. Sometimes I let her cry, sometimes I give up and move her to her Rock N Play, and on a few rare occasions she's so upset I just end the nap and pick her up. We have made more progress with other sleep props however. No swaddle at all in the day time (still at night), no noise machine, and rarely a binkie. Small steps forward I suppose:)
She's still rolling from tummy to back but not quite from back to tummy. She gets about 3/4 of the way but not all the way there. She found her toes at the beginning of this week and she loves grabbing them.
She is the BIGGEST love!! She smiles, coos, and laughs non-stop (unless you want to take a picture). She is in love with her big sister. She tracks her every move and loves to talk to her. She seems like she's going to be a chatty Cathy just like big sis.
We're still struggling with acid reflux. The dr. just prescribed a new medication and we're hoping this helps her. Even though she has times of fussiness she's still such a sweet baby girl.
