Christmas Season 2015

I love Summer because I hate to be cold but the spirit of Christmas is the best and it's just my favorite time of year!  We've been jam packed with fun activities.
Here's a collection of our holiday gear and festivities....

Madi has learned to pose with her hands on her hips, lol!!!

We've been having jammy movie popcorn nights this holiday season.

My mom and I took a Christmas shopping trip to SF.  So much fun!!!

The Serpa's had a holiday gathering where we took a hay ride down Candy Cane Lane.

One house "snowed" and Emily loved it!

It's a tradition to have a Pajama Polar Express Night.  We dress in pj's, pop popcorn, and drive around looking at Christmas lights while listening to Christmas music.

Their tickets for the Polar Express.

Don't mind all my returns on the floor.

My mom had a holiday Favorite Things Party.

Kevin & I hosted my office Christmas Party at our home.  Here's a few of the ladies towards the end of the night.

On my mom's birthday we came back to our house after having brunch to make Gingerbread Houses.

Eating her house.

Making Christmas sugar cookies for Santa.

Writing a letter to Santa at Macy's

Where did it go?!?!

Made the dough in the morning, put it in the fridge to set, and after some activities we cut the cookies out that afternoon.

This is one platter of our cookies. Emily did the decorating with some supervision.  She couldn't get enough of the sprinkles.

We try really hard to teach our kids the reason for the season.  Every night we light an Advent Wreath, pray from the Bible, and this year we're watching videos from Holy Hero's.  The videos were great because Emily loves anything like YouTube.  We also try to keep the conversation going all season about Jesus' birth.
I made Rudolph pancakes for Christmas Eve breakfast.  I'll share the recipe at a later date.

I took a video of Em (or so I thought) where Santa called her to tell her he was packing the sleigh and excited to visit her house.  She was so thrilled to get the call.  I'm so mad I didn't hit record!!!!
You've got to check out this app and save it for next year.

This is Emily calling Santa for the third time.  Jingle the Elf left her his phone number earlier this week.

I seriously have a tear in my eye because the season is over.  It always goes too fast and this year was crazy fast. We got our Christmas Bucket List complete but I didn't feel like I got to really enjoy the season.  When does time slow down???????
