Game Day Ready

I don't know about you but I've been hearing nothing but football and fantasy drafts.  I'm not involved in any drafts but I am super excited for football season.  I don't watch sports on TV but I do love going to games.  The game is fun and all but let's be real I'm in it for the tailgate!  I shared some products to up your tailgate game this morning on CBS 47 This Morning.  In case you missed it check out the clip HERE.

Working with Julie Musgrave was a real treat!

To start your tailgate off right you need chips and salsa and guac.  But forget the store bought brands because with IMUSA's granite Molcajete you can prepare fresh salsa and guacamole.  Just grab a bag of chips and you're set.  You can find this at Target for $19.99.

To prepare your meat you've got to try T-Fal's Meat Tenderizer which uses a unique rock and roll technique and has a textured and flat mallet pads perfect for any cut of meat.  You can find the tenderizer on Amazon for $12.99.

The next step in prepping is adding a bit of heat to your meat with Carrington Farm's Sriracha Coconut Cooking Oil.  It's all natural, gluten-free, non-GMO, and free of hydrogenated and trans fats.  You can find the cooking oil on their website for $11.99 per bottle.

To prepare the perfect meat you'll next need T-Fal's Optigrill Plus.  This is a smart grill that automatically adapts to the thickness of your meat giving you the perfectly cooked meat from rare to well done.  It has 6 preset programs.  You can find the Optigrill Plus at Bed, Bath and Beyond for $179.99.
If you need a non-meat option Veestro's plant based meals are perfect.  They are all natural and preservative free and can be served from freezer to table.  You just defrost and plate; no heating or cooking required.  These are perfect for tailgates because they are so easy to serve.  Meals average $8 and can be ordered on their website.

To wash everything down try Sparkling Ice which is an alternative to soda.  They are lightly carbonated with B vitamins, Vitamin D and antioxidants.  They are zero calories, zero carbs, gluten-free, and sodium free.  You can choose from 20 flavors at several retailers including Walmart and Sam's Club; they cost $1.19-$1.29 per bottle.

Last but not least and certainly my favorite is toasting your tailgate with Santa Margherita Prosecco.  You can grab a bottle for $21.99 at wine.com.
