Friday Favorites 10/14

Ok, it's mid October and I haven't put out one decoration nor washed the Halloween gear for the girls.  I'm failing...I'm just so busy!  By the way there are signs in my house that still say summer (OMG)!  At this point should I just leave them up for next year?!?!?
I'll be traveling for a leadership conference this weekend and I'm excited to plan for 2017.  This past week was busy and fun and here are my favorites from the week:

It's a wonderful feeling when your hard work pays off and you get recognized.  I do this because I love working with my clients.  Being a Realtor is being able to grant dreams; who wouldn't love that?!?!

The inventory is incredibly low under $350,000 and if you are thinking about moving up this is the perfect time.  If you are curious what your home may be worth click this link:

We love fresh produce and cantaloupes are at the top of our favorite list.  It was very sweet of my friend Christina to deliver honeydews and cantaloupes to us this last week.  We're eating them like candy.

This last weekend I had the pleasure of helping throw my cousin a baby shower along with some other girlfriends.  Our friend Christina hosted it at her beautiful home and we couldn't have asked for better weather.  Dede and Will are expecting a little girl and we had a Cowboy's theme since they are such huge fans.

Perhaps the best gift of the day... A stroller cup holder with a beer!

These were all the girls who came from far and near:

Over the weekend we also had a 30th birthday to celebrate!!!  My friend Megan celebrated her birthday in a big way and we were so excited to be included.  We started the night at her house for drinks and appetizers.  We then loaded a luxury party bus and headed to dinner at Harris Ranch.  I had heard so much about Harris Ranch but never had been so I was so excited to try it.  We had a huge table on the patio and it was just a gorgeous setting.  During our dinner a band played for us and set the mood for a perfect night.  The dance party on the way home was the icing on the cake.  Cheers to you Megan and thank you so much for including us.

I'm always pretty excited when our photos are featured on companies sites and social media.  These two cuties were featured this week on Chaser Kids.  You can see full post HERE.

I am really proud of a little idea I had a few months backed called Fresno Fab Females!  I think it's so important for women to uplift each other so I wanted to create a group of local bloggers so that we could work together and empower one another.  My dear friend Rema of Jewelry and Jeans has done all the ground work with me and we're working on expanding and strengthening the group.  This last week we met with the women for dinner and then a VIP shopping night at Ooh La La, one of my favorite boutiques in town.  It was such a fun night!
You should take a minute and check out these fabulous women:

This coming Monday Dave & Buster's Fresno is opening!!!!!  I had the privilege of being invited to their media event yesterday and soft opening last night.  Some of my other blogger friends were invited as well which made it extra fun!  A full post with lots of details will be coming soon but we got to meet with the General Manager, hear about all the food from the Kitchen Manager, taste tons of food, sip fun cocktails, and play lots of games!  It's an adult Disneyland in our own backyard.
I am so excited for Fresno; this is going to be so awesome for our town.

Last night a friend texted me this first pic and another friend a pic of the front page of the Fresno Bee this morning.  So excited to be on Fresnobee.com and my friends to be on the FRONT page of The Bee- woohoo!

I was recently introduced to BeautyCounter whose mission is to get safer products into the hands of everyone.  To be completely honest I am all about convenience but when I heard some of the facts from BeautyCounter I was a little taken aback.  There are over 80,000 chemicals on the market today and the U.S. hasn't passed a major federal law to regulate the safety of ingredients since 1938!  BeautyCounter has banned over 1500 harmful chemicals yet strives to deliver equally indulgent products as any other personal care product.

I received kid's shampoo & conditioner, the charcoal cleansing bar, hydrate body lotion, purifying charcoal mask, and lengthening mascara.

The girls love trying anything new and the shampoo and conditioner performed as well as any other product we have used.  My only issue is having to use thee products.  Again I love ease so typically we use a 3 in 1 Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body Wash.  However, I understand the safety of the BeautyCounter products is far superior.

I was skeptical of the charcoal cleansing bar because I ONLY use body wash.  I was pleasantly surprised that used with my loofa I was still able to generate enough suds for my liking.

This is during application and after of the Purifying Charcoal Mask.  You clean your face, then apply for 10 minutes.  When I removed it I noticed a little glow that I didn't have before.

The Hydrate Body Lotion in Citrus Mimosa has the best smell however it's a light lotion which I'm sure some people love but I like a thick lotion like a body cream.  The Lengthening Mascara is fabulous.  I did actually see a difference from my previous mascara and this one; I love the length and volume it added.

Happy Friday and wishing you a blessed weekend.
