Party Decor by Busy Bee's Happenings

Busy Bee's Happenings recently provided the printable decor for Madison's 2nd Barnyard Birthday Party.  I think print items really add something special to a party; like the icing on the cake.  These Farm Party printables were so cute and worked perfectly with the theme.  Busy Bee's Happenings provided signs, favor tags, food labels, and thank you cards.  

Busy Bee's Happenings specializes in printable party items for birthdays, showers, and holidays.  They can customize orders but offer great ideas for farm and sport parties.  Their Etsy shop carries 5 stars and I can see why their customers are so happy.  Heather, the owner and creator of Busy Bee's Happenings, was great to work with and provided a quick turnaround which is always a huge plus for me.

Please tell us a little bit about your company and how you got started:

I have always enjoyed being creative. After receive a degree in graphic design, I never felt as if I fit in the classic "work environment," working for someone else. I had hard time being creative at certain times of the day when I was suppose to be working. So, it seemed like starting my own business made sense. My store on Etsy allows this creative structure for me, and I am also able to work on projects that interest me. 

What has been your greatest lesson in running your own business?

You can succeed...always try new things.

What’s your greatest tip for entrepreneurs?

Anything is possible, never give up. Don't count yourself out.

What does your normal day look like?

That depends on what hat I have on that day...first and foremost I am mother, then graphic designer & a CPA...so a little bit of everything :)
