My summer essential checklist includes: fabulous sunnies, a giant floaty, a cute bikini that minimizes tan lines, and sunscreen. I'm using the ultimate in face sunscreen from Obagi as part of my essentials for summer. Skin protection I think is key to great looking skin and wrinkle prevention. There are several very expensive ways that we try to reverse aging but the key is preventing instead of reacting. I started using sunscreen on my face in middle school because I was told very early on about skin protection. I pray that I have good skin for a long time (however as 30 hit I started seeing some signs, ugh!). I've turned to a trusted expert in skincare, Obagi for great sunscreen. They recently sent me Obagi Professional-C Suncare Broad Spectrum SPF 30 sunscreen. I've implemented it into my skin care regimen and of course you can't see the signs of prevention but years from now I hope to see the results. Professional-C Suncare is non-comedogenic, broad spectrum sunscreen which protects against harmful UVA and UVB rays while helping to improve the appearance of skin aging with 10% L-ascorbic acid. It's a light silky cream and I love the way it feels as I put it on. It quickly absorbs and feels invisible which is a plus for me; I don't like heavy feeling products.
