Friday Favorites 9/16

It's like fall hit this week out of no where.  I'm not going to lie I'm totally mourning summer.  I've had to use my car heater twice this week and it's dark by 8 pm, what the heck!!!
This week was so packed and so much fun.  Cooking class, bridal shower, FSU game, Spa Day, Shopping, Recognition at work, pumpkins, Little Gym and so much more.  Whew I'm tired just looking back on the week.

I took Emily to the first cooking class of the semester on Saturday at Young Chef's Academy.  They made a tricked out cereal and Apple Dumplings.  Emily loved it and her teacher told me afterwards that Em was so sweet, kind and smart.  Always a proud mama!

I was so excited to shower my dear friend Brittany this last weekend at her gorgeous bridal shower.  Her bridesmaid put on the most beautiful shower and I can't wait for the big day!

Saturday night we got to do a little tailgating and go to the first FSU game of the season.  A fun date night out.

On Sunday my mom and I went up to Chuckchansi for a pool and spa day.  It was beyond needed!  We had lunch by the pool, chit chatted and then had massages and pedicures.
It's like a mini vacay but we were only gone for 6 hours.  Win-win.

I was honored to hear that I was a Top Realtor for the month of August.  I love working so hard for my clients.

The items I mentioned a couple weeks back that I ordered from CupShe arrived.  I'm so obsessed with my new bathing suit and the dress is simple and cute.  Right now the summer sale got even better so you should definitely check it out.

I just received some items from Beauty Counter and I'm excited to try them out.  I was also thrilled to see them at Target.

Speaking of Target I should never be allowed in the doors.  I go nuts!
These were Halloween items that I just had to pick up.

I'm in love with anything pumpkin so I just about fainted when I saw that Target has an All Things Pumpkin Aisle.  OMG, I Die!  I picked up oatmeal, cereal, tea, and pumpkin spice pretzels.

You can't forget the tank I found that I will wear when I consume all the pumpkin items in one day:)

I almost peed my pants laughing when my cousin texted me that she felt Un-American because she wasn't trying a PSL.  We both hate coffee so we decided we needed a quick coffee date to split a PSL.  That way if either hated it, not much was wasted.
I did try one at the end of last season and thought it was decent but didn't get to try again.
Interestingly enough neither of us loved it; you could still taste mostly coffee.  I could see myself liking it more though once the weather is cold out.
Thanks Dede for the PSL date.

My dear friend Rema, of Jewelry and Jeans and I did our second Ooh La La Girl's Style Series.  We featured fall transitional pieces.  It's such a fun night shopping, talking style tips, and sharing with viewers what Ooh La La has to offer and how you can style different looks.
Follow me (@therealhousewifeoffresno), @jewelryandjeans, and @iloveoohlala to see the series.

Hanging with this little monkey is always a favorite of the week.

I got in the mail a new book, Think Happy.  I can't tell you how much I need positive thoughts so I'm so excited to start reading this book.

My girls and I seem to rotate through our "Jams."  Usually only 2 seconds after getting in the car I get a song request from one of the two mini divas.  This has been on repeat:

We finally had a family date night to G's Creamery on Bullard and West.  The girls have been but Kevin and I haven't.  The girls split Pineapple, Kevin got a cone with Peanut Butter, and I had to way splurge and try their sweet bun speciality.  I choose Salted Caramel Pretzel with no topping between a donut.  It was almost too sweet but I'm so glad I tried it.  I definitely recommend trying it at least once.

This little girl was of course the first to finish so she begged each one of us for more.  She was literally climbing across the table to share with daddy.  She's too cute for words!
