My Cookie Exchange

Last night I had a Cookie Exchange with girlfriends.  My mom has hosted a cookie exchange nearly all my life so I wanted to start the tradition with my friends.  Everyone brought 6 dozen homemade cookies, a printed recipe for everyone, and we swapped at the end of the night.

When everyone arrived they placed their cookies on the table with a notecard that listed their name and recipe.  Everyone also got a sheet of stickers to slyly put on people.  If you got caught you had to put the sticker on yourself.  The person with the least amount of stickers at the end of the night won.
After mingling, eating, and drinking we played Christmas Catchphrase.  I put Christmas related items, phrases, and songs in a bowl and we sat in a circle and played.  The timer was set for 3 minutes and whoever was holding the bowl when the timer buzzed was eliminated.  It's just like survivor; the game ends when one is left standing.
The last piece to our night was swapping cookies.
Thank you to everyone who came to spend their Sunday evening with me.  I love this time of year and getting to spend it with dear friends.
