Introducing Little Ms Shutterbug

I've collaborated with Little Ms Shutterbug to create Emily's birthday party invitations.  Could these get any cuter?!?!  Little Ms Shutterbug creates digital party printables including holiday cards, birthday invitations, shower invitations, water bottle labels, banners, favor tags, cupcake toppers and wraps; the list goes on and on.  Krystal was wonderful to work with; she was quick and responsive.  I highly encourage you to check out her shop for all of your printing needs.  Not only was I very happy with her work but she also has a 5 star rating on her shop.  You will quickly see why Krystal has such rave reviews from the Meet Section below.  She is very customer service oriented and it comes across in dealing with her.  Thank you Little Ms Shutterbug for creating the cutest invitations for our little princess.  She keeps asking to see her Elsa invitation because she loves it so much!!!

Please tell us a little bit about yourself:
My name is Krystal and I'm from Jamaica. I'm 34 years old and I am a photographer and a freelance graphic designer.
Please tell us a little bit about your company and how you got started:I loved drawing as a child and became interested in IT when I entered college, then both interests combined into a love for graphic design :) I became interested in photography a few years ago and am working on building each interest into a business.
What has been your greatest lesson in running your own business?Probably the importance of customer service. Dealing with so many customers means you are bound to encounter a few unpleasant people. It's tempting to respond in a similar way but I have learned to maintain my professionalism no matter what and it has worked really well for me. I also have become more understanding. It's important to see things from the customer's perspective. People who buy party printables are doing so because well, they're throwing a party! A party is a happy occasion so anything involved in the process of planning one should always be a pleasant experience. I try to be as accommodating as possible, so I can help people throw the best party possible.
What’s your greatest tip for entrepreneurs?Never stop learning. When I look at my designs now and my designs a year ago, there's such a difference because of how much I have learned. I'm always looking out for workshops, researching tutorials and tips online, and teaching myself new things. Times change, people's tastes change, so you really have to be fluid in your work and what you offer.
What does your normal day look like?At the moment, I'm studying photography in school, so I get up at around 5am usually. I check my emails, go to school, come home, complete assignments, and then I do most of my orders. I always have my laptop with me so sometimes when I have free time I check my messages and do a couple of invitations.
Who inspires you?
Definitely my mother. She was a single mom and a very hard worker and I was always amazed by how much she was able to do with so little time and so little sleep!
