Introducing WeeLoveToShop

As soon as Black Friday hits Christmas explodes in our house.  The decorations go up and festive gear comes out!  I love dressing the girls up for ANY holiday but Christmas outfits might just be my favorite.  I'm always looking for cute new ideas for the girls and personalized always takes the cake.  For these reasons I am pretty excited to collaborate with WeeLoveToShop!  Chelsa from WeeLoveToShop was so sweet to send both girls a custom reindeer shirt to show their Christmas spirit.  They seem to run true to size and are very nice quality.
When I am shopping on Etsy I always make sure to check out the reviews before making a purchase.  You will be happy to know that WeeLoveToShop has 5 stars which I can attest to after working with Chelsa.  If you are looking for holiday shirts, sibling shirts, bag/totes, or any holiday outfits please check out WeeLoveToShop first.  You won't be disappointed with their cute designs and great customer service.
As a fellow working mama I loved getting to know Chelsa and you can too by reading the Meet section below.  I really appreciate her ideas about scheduling and a goals checklist.  You go girl!!!

Meet:

Please tell us a little bit about yourself:
Hello! I am a wife, momma to two amazing children, nurse and lover of all crafts! I work as a nurse about 12 hours a week and feel so fortunate that I am able to spend the rest of my time at home with my family and expand my business.

Please tell us a little bit about your company and how you got started:
After our second baby was born in 2014, I was motivated to think of ways to be at home more and still earn an income. I love my career as a nurse but I also realize that the days of having little ones in your arms can pass in the blink of an eye. I have been making bows for our daughter since she was born and I had a new interest in making onesies that I design myself. Soon I was making shirts for friends for siblings, birthday parties, and holidays and my business grew from there!

What has been your greatest lesson in running your own business?
I have learned many lessons since running my own business out of my home. It can easily consume you when you are always “open” and with technology the way it is, I felt pressure to be available at all times. My greatest lesson has been time management. Initially, I would be thinking about my business constantly throughout the day. This was actually working against me, because my attention was not focused. Now, I have scheduled times throughout the day or week that I set aside to give 100% of my attention to my orders. For me, having a schedule is crucial.

What’s your greatest tip for entrepreneurs?
My greatest tip for entrepreneurs is to get organized and create goals for your company. This is a lesson I learned growing up from my Dad, who often even made a daily “goal checklist” while eating breakfast in the morning. Although it is important to keep your long-term goals in mind, accomplishing your short-term goals is so empowering!

What does your normal day look like?
A normal day for me is spent with our two sweet little ones! I typically wake up between 6-6:30am to work on orders for about an hour before they wake up. We have breakfast, and are usually out the door to a playdate or run a few errands. After lunch, if I am lucky, I have some time to work during nap time- although I do not count on this time! We have dinner as a family and then play until bedtime. About 3 nights out of the week I do some sort of business-related tasks after the kids are down. I love creating custom orders for people! And have I mentioned my best friend, caffeine? ☺

Who inspires you?
I am so inspired by my husband! He is forever supportive and encouraging. I have some friends who also run small businesses from their homes. Speaking with them about their journeys is also incredibly inspiring! However, one of my greatest sources of inspiration comes from my career being a nurse. In a rehabilitation setting, I am able to take care of the same patient for several weeks. Seeing the strength and determination it takes someone to learn how to walk again, or feed themselves for the first time in months gives me such a positive outlook and motivation for my own life as well!
